JTL supports the recruitment of persons with disabilities wherever these may be reasonably overcome in the work place by appropriate modification to enable the tasks to be performed.

JTL is aware of its responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 and further guidance on this subject is available from the Human Resources Manager or the Equality and Diversity team. Employees should not become involved in giving advice on this legislation or related issues without first seeking assistance.

Employees who are disabled upon joining JTL or who become disabled during the course of their employment should inform their Director immediately in writing in order that appropriate action can be taken. JTL is keen to work with Government support agencies where this will enable the employee to undertake their duties effectively.
