While every effort will be made to ensure redundancies are avoided, it should be accepted that there could be circumstances beyond the company’s control, which could result in a reduced demand for services or for the outputs of a particular role or department.

JTL recognises that redundancy is one of the most traumatic events an employee may experience. Announcement of redundancies will invariably have an adverse impact on morale, motivation and productivity. JTL will only embark on redundancy as a last resort following thorough scrutiny of relevant business proposals. JTL will endeavour to carry out the process as expediently and confidentially as possible whilst ensuring the process is thorough and fair.
