Once JTL has received proper notification from the employee of the intended start date for maternity leave JTL will, in turn, notify the employee of the date on which her maternity leave will end. JTL will notify the employee of the expected end date of the maternity leave period within 28 days of the receipt of the employees’ notification.

JTL will assume that the employee will take her full entitlement of maternity leave. The employee must advise JTL if it is her intention to return to work following her leave. If the employee intends to return to work before the end of either her Ordinary or Additional Maternity Leave period the employee must give JTL at least 28 days’ notice of her date of return during the OML period or 8 weeks’ notice of return during the AML period.
