Return to Work
There may be occasions when for the well-being of the employee they will be invited to attend a formal return to work interview with the Line Manager, Human Resources Manager or Director, or may necessitate the completion of a formal Risk Assessment with the Health & Safety team. A record of the interview will be added to the employee’s file.
On return to work from a prolonged period of absence it may be prudent for the employee to come back to work for reduced hours initially (with pay pro-rated accordingly) until fully capable to undertake their duties. This option will be discussed with the employee by the Human Resources Manager and/or Health & Safety team in conjunction with the line manager. All cases will be assessed on a case by case basis.
